A man plans the kidnap of his wife along with two henchmen. So that he can get money from his father in law who is a millionaire. They had talked for half the ransom. Things go haywire when they meet up with more problems and the lady cop getting more information on the overall picture related to kidnap and murder.
What follows after the confusion forms the rest of the story!!!

Review:
1) Characterisation as well as selection of cast for the characters has been very well done by the director.
2) Story in Coen movies has always interesting me with their twisted nature. Same can be said for this movie too. A crafty story.
3) The usual dark comedy that Coen movies carry was very much present in the movie.
4) Had a bit of difficulty catching up with the minnesota slang. :)

Rating: 5/5

1) Fargo is a place in the North Dakota
2) Film opens up with a text that it is a true story. Even though it is fictional, Coen brothers mention that the movie contains many incidents that they have read or seen around.

A very interesting movie with an even more interesting story and character line that can definitely give you a nice watch.
Easily one of my favorites among the work of Coen Brothers.
